The area between Gibraltar and Marbella is wonderfully diverse, working west along the coast from Marbella -

Head along the Golden Mile out of Marbella to reach world famous Puerto Banus which is built around its marina, where some of the most magnificent yachts lay at anchor.

Casares is a picture postcard village with a population of just three thousand. To say that Casares is beautiful is an understatement. Most of the white villages in the area are beautiful but there is something very special about the sight of Casares that causes the visitor to park the car and simply stare or take a photo.

Stylish Nueva Andalucia has  some very fine restaurants. It is also home to the areas Casino.

San Pedro is very Spanish in flavour but has a surprisingly good choice of international restaurants and exclusive shops - you will have to hunt them down in the warren of small streets. There is a superb promenade along the seafront.

Further to the west is Estepona, a truly privileged town. This part of the western Costa del Sol offers the visitor an unrivalled array of attractions. Glorious summers and mild winters make it the perfect holiday destination.

After Estepona, the next  area is Manilva and Sabinillas more traditionally Spanish in feel than many resorts with an absence of high rise developments.

Carry on past Manilva and reach Pueto La Duquesa, a scratch built resort centred around its pretty marina and excellent 18 hole golf course.
