The Costa Dorada lies to the south of Barcelona stretching from south of Salou down to Peniscola where it becomes the Costa del Azahar.
It is as diverse a coastline as you are

holiday makers but that is now
changing.
The natural park of the Ebro Delta
covers 320 square kilometres and is
the second largest wetland area in
the western Mediterranean, after the
French Camargue.
Popular with fishermen and
birdwatchers alike, the delta stretches out into the sea and is certainly worth exploring.
Around Tarragona and along the Costa Dorada are several small resorts, steadily growing in popularity, together with the more established Salou.
